Constitution of The People's Bible Project

Version 2.1 • The Double-Win Royalty Designation Covenant (Article XXXVIII)

PREAMBLE & FOUNDATIONAL DECLARATION

The People's Bible Project is rooted in an unwavering conviction: God is real. God loves every human being equally. And God has endowed humanity with free choice surrounded by unearned grace.

The root of divine grace is that anyone who has even the quietest inclination—the smallest spark of curiosity that there might be a God—is invited to explore that inclination freely, without fear of judgment, intellectual gatekeeping, or moral condemnation.

"For too long, biblical interpretation has been hijacked by self-righteous systems seeking power, wealth, or religious control—creating heavy barriers that alienate modern souls. The People's Bible Project exists to tear down those artificial barriers, making the message human-focused, grace-centered, and utterly clear."

ARTICLE XXXVIII — PHYSICAL PUBLISHING & THE DOUBLE-WIN ROYALTY DESIGNATION (v2.1)

It is right that all contributors are rewarded—not merely by acknowledging their intellectual work in the Appendix, but also financially when physical Bible sales take place:

1. The Double-Win Principle:

Every contribution yields a double harvest: illuminating Scripture online for searching souls, and providing direct financial blessing to the contributor or their local community through physical print publication.

2. Contributor Choice of Royalty Designation:

Net royalties/profits from physical print sales placed in the Contributor Royalty Trust shall be divided between the facilitator and verified contributors. During Stage 2 Verification, each contributor has the explicit right to choose:

  • Option A (Personal Financial Reward): Receive their proportionate financial share directly.
  • Option B (Church or Community Blessing): Direct 100% of their financial share to their affiliated local church, fellowship group, community food bank, or designated charity.
3. Transparent Accounting:

Royalty statements and payout choices are managed transparently via the Stage 2 Verification Portal (Article XXVII), ensuring complete integrity and accountability.

ARTICLE XXXVII — CUSTODIANSHIP CHARTER & SERVING THE 3 SEEKERS (v1.9)

Serves the Searching Soul (not yet found), the Growing Soul (seeking understanding), and the Knowledgeable Soul (warning that status or academic degrees are meaningless if used to posture or push away seekers).

ARTICLE III — THE KJV AS THE COMMON TABLE

The King James Version (1611) shall serve as the fixed textual foundation, creating a Common Table where scholars, traditionalists, lifelong readers, and complete newcomers sit as equals.

ARTICLE XXVII — TWO-STAGE DEADLINE & GDPR OPT-IN PIPELINE (v1.7)

During the draft phase, contributors use handles and optional confidential emails. At the project deadline, shortlisted contributors receive an opt-in verification link to confirm their Real Full Name, Church/Community Group Affiliation, and Royalty Designation Choice. Read our Privacy Policy.
